One way to get through the store

Elizabeth has finally discovered a way to keep Benjamin quiet and entertained during our trips to the grocery store. She bought him a Lighting McQueen lollipop to keep him busy. It worked. We got through quickly without too much hassle. Now we have a bag of Dum Dums which we use one or two of the lollipops while we shop at the commissary. We are not above bribery for good behavior.

Sunrise Service at Red Rocks

Elizabeth had a great idea when we were visiting her parents over Easter. We got up around 4:30AM and went down the treacherous snowy mountain to the Red Rocks Sunrise Service. I think it was run by some Colorado Christian Coalition, for our purposes they will hereafter be referred to as CCC. It was actually a nice service. We were freezing and it was pretty long, but the music was well done and the actual sermon was very good message for our time. He spoke at length on the topic of strengthening families and homes to resist Satan. However, the news people decided to twist the message into a war mongering Christian jihad. Dude, anything to sell a story.

School Bus!!

Today I decided if Benjamin likes buses so much, I'd see if we could look at a couple. We dropped by the Bellevue Public School bus barn. I thought since I used to work there I might still have some contacts. It turns out my old boss is still working there and hooked Benjamin up. He gave him a squishy stress bus and pulled over a bus that just came off it's route. We then were treated to three laps around the lot. Benjamin loved it.

After that I tried to find the Harley store here in Omaha. I couldn't remember where it was and I of course didn't look it up ahead of time. So Benjamin had to settle for the Yamaha store on Fort Crook Road. I was able to get one decent picture of Benjamin on a bike. He really liked sitting on the 4-wheelers. Oh, and the best part. He spent the most time playing on a golf cart with his new spongey bus.
